Media bias and the social norms it perpetuates are important contributors to inequity – and we can change them.
We are a 501c3 non-profit organization. We welcome all, regardless of gender identity or sexual orientation. We are non-partisan, non-profit, feminist, and pro-choice. We collaborate with like-minded organizations to increase our impact, and while our action is locally focused, our commitment to gender equality is international.
We host a long-running international Film Festival and a monthly feminist book club, organize issue-oriented gatherings, participate in public demonstrations that advance our cause, walk to draw attention to gender-based violence, socialize at a monthly drop-in, and much more.
For 25 years, we have hosted the Through Women’s Eyes International Film Festival, featuring films by and about women. In addition, we host a monthly book club focusing on international women authors, organize issue-oriented gatherings, collaborate at a monthly drop-in, and more.
